Venus with Love

As Venus glides past the Sun_, gently showering her loving energy upon our wee family of humans, a smile is born.

More than a mere realization, but a deep experience of what it takes us 'two leggeds' to shine. Venus makes us shine with love.

To look at a hard earned wood pile, gathered through sweat and toil, and to see the warmth that it will give. The days of igniting the spirits of those that sit near the fire. The give away of the trees and the energy gone into it being a fire for us, is replaced but not forgotten.

To rise up on the waves of Venus, in its five petaled dance through space and to give thanks for the journey we took to get here. The journey ‘we’ took…yes

We are One.

So We are Venus and We are its movement.

The trees are us and when we burn them we are transforming part of our energy into another form, so that we may live. In time, we ourselves will be transformed from this body and therefore continue the great prophecy…

There is no death, only transformation!

Our present physical state is going to change. We are but a transit in space.

So on this fine day of cold rain and wind, as I sit by the fire (that I call mine, but in fact is no more mine than is the smoke it makes) I acknowledge the ancestors. Those that went before me and played their part in creating this moment that I exist in now.

The ancestor beings are all my relations; the humans, the animals, rocks, plants, star beings, trees, rain, wind…everything.

We are One

It is time to honour the gifts that Spirit gives us and live every moment with true power.

I once had the honour of sitting with Sun Bear, a wise Native American Medicine Elder. 

He said, ‘True Power is often a very quiet thing’.

I like this.

Take the time to look around you - regularly.

At least everyday. 

Throughout each and everyday.

Look and really See.

Quietly take in what you See and acknowledge it with gratitude.

Do this more and more and it becomes The Way.
